Sorry, but she’s the one making news: Sarah Palin drops a much-needed advice bomb on Facebook

This is already flying around the Nets like a nuclear skippin’ rock. Gov. Palin, in a long, long entry, offers a slew of common-sense, well-ground (and rounded) advice to the Freshman Congressmen coming to Washington.

The whole thing is worth a read (anything Gov. Palin writes is worth a read, frankly, at least if you want to stay up with the national political news cycle) but what is becoming very clear, especially with Palin’s remarks on the QE2 catastrophe headed our way, is that no matter how many advisers she does or does not have, she is the one making the decisions on which way she’s going to fall on an issue, and she’s been dead-on on almost everything (I still smart from a couple of her endorsements, but who cares).

What is important about this note is how it closes, which goes to show how instinctive Gov. Palin is – she knows exactly what pitfalls many of the Freshmen may or already are stepping in, and is trying to head it off at the pass, so to speak.

Gov. Palin’s America By Heart hits shelves Nov. 23. Expect a full review of it along with David Kahane’s Rules for Radical Conservatives in the coming days. Anyway, to the note:

Remember that some in the media will love you when you stray from the time-tested truths that built America into the most exceptional nation on earth. When the Left in the media pat you on the back, quickly reassess where you are and readjust, for the liberals’ praise is a warning bell you must heed. Trust me on that.

I and most Americans are so excited for you. Working together, we have every right to be optimistic about our future. We can be hopeful because real hope lies in the ingenuity, generosity, and boundless courage of the everyday Americans who make our country exceptional. These are the men and women who sent you to Washington. May your work and leadership honor their faith in you.

I also like what Ed Morrissey wrote over at HotAir about the same note:

Sarah Palin has been there and seen it first hand.  In an open letter to the freshman class, Palin offers the policy syllabus so familiar to those in and around the Tea Party movement: stop ObamaCare, cut spending, shrink government, enforce the borders, and strengthen national security.  Palin lays all of these goals out well, but her advice at the end about the distractions that will push the newly-elected from their path is perhaps the most important part of her letter, and should be required reading for every Republican on Capitol Hill
