One more Palin piece to start the day

I’ve been reading Cubachi for awhile, and one thing I like is her strong defenses of Palin, not on the premise that Palin can do no wrong, but on the premise that Palin is a person of principle. For those who may have started The Cassie Letters, you’re probably aware of z’King’s view of Conservative principle. This piece cuts to the chase:

While most people are already giving up on Joe Miller, calling it a “lost cause” there are people like Sarah Palin who is putting principle over party.

Dan Riehl and Jedidiah Bila wrote about this very concept today.

Sarah Palin is putting her money where her mouth is, and I greatly appreciate her fighting for the cause, and for Miller. Those who are in the conservative movement must make the effort to bring about change. You win some, you lose some. If last Tuesday’s election was any indication, we’re a powerful force in politics.

Just take a look at the Norm Coleman – Al Franken race. Franken fought tooth and nail to get that win. I am not saying we should resort to cheating as he did. But the left is relentless when it comes to getting their way. We must be steadfast in winning.

Please read the whole thing, and while you’re at it, ctrl-d Cubachi, or at least add her to your feed.

Oalin aside, Joe Miller’s decision to contest ballots that clearly display the intent of the voter makes me doubt his integrity. I don’t like Murkowski, but that action by Miller makes me think he’s not likely to be much better in the long run.

Agreed – there’s a lot of bitterness to go around there. I’m not a fan of the tactic Miller’s camp has chosen, but Murks entitled, abhorrent behavior has been awful.
